Will Marijuana help rescue the economy in California?

tom ammianoTom Ammiano (Democratic State Assembly member) thinks that it could.. Including me…

They think that it will allow the state to start regulating the drug and then tax it like crazy..

Marijuana makes $14 billion dollars a year in California.  They think that with it making that much money that it could be of service to the state if they legalize it.

People are going to keep smoking it no matter what…  Just because it isnt talked about very much and most people don’t approve of it people are still going to do it..

I betcha Snoop Dogg is happy about this :)

California has one of the highest unemployment rates and it doesn’t look like its going to get any better.

California is even laying off Disneyland employees and Six Flags might even being going under..

So Please.. LEGALIZE POT cause I am going to Disneyland soon and it better be up and running by May.. Damn it.. :)  

Arnold Schwarzenegger better get his act together and get this idea in motion.

California State is Bankrupt!

California State is bankrupt and has NO water

What the hell?  These are scary times…

The state is issuing everyone IOU’s because they can’t pay anyone. 

I am going to Disneyland in May so hopefully everything will be cheap because they are trying to get people to travel there and spend their hard earned cash.

Arnold Schwarzenegger must be pissed..

He should have been “pumping up” California but instead they are in a state of emergency.

California is also running out of water!

California has a population of way over 30 million people so they must be really hurting.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Arnold emailed the U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson on Thursday, January 29th 2009 and it said that California might need an emergency federal loan of up to $7 billion within weeks. 

Now that is scary!

How about Oprah give them some of her money? :)

California’s deficit is between 17-20 billion dollars. 

Arnold is planning to cut 200,000 people’s pay down to just $6.55 an hour.  How could anyone live on that?

Apparently it will save the state 1 billion dollars a month though.

But what will that do to the average hard working citizen?
