Jennifer Hudson – Star Spangled Banner Comeback Review
I just finished watching Jennifer Hudson’s comeback at the Superbowl in Tampa, Florida singing the “Star Spangled Banner.”
It was her first performance since the death of her mother, her brother on October 24th 2008 and her nephew on October 25th.
It was so good it sounded as if it was prerecorded. It was perfect and she did a fabulous job.
I think Jennifer is a beautiful and talented young woman and her coming back into the spotlight was amazing and strong.
She ought to be so proud of her performance as it was absolutely brilliant.
Way to go Jennifer Hudson for singing the United States of America’s National Anthem at the Superbowl of 2009 with such poise and welcome back girl!
It seemed like her families presence was around her when she was singing.
She did such a good job!
Update: I had originally put I thought her performance was prerecorded but I took that down because I felt bad… But it turns out that it was pre recorded.. Damn.. should have left it..
Faith Hill also sang at the Superbowl and she sang “God Bless America.”
It was an excellent performance as well. She brought tears to my eyes.
The way the music was arranged and you could tell that she loved singing that song.
This message is for all of you that just can’t understand your male mate.
Does he become distant for no apparent reason and you think you did something wrong?
Well you didn’t.
Does that ease your mind a little?
That happened to me many times and I always use to cry and get really upset because I didn’t think I did anything wrong even though I thought I must have for him to do this to me. Turns out they don’t even think they are doing anything wrong!
Men like to go into their “caves” according to the book “Men Are From Mars Women Are From Venus” and they tend to go into a zone where they just want to think about their problems and hide away.
This is not your fault!
The book also says that men are like “rubber bands” and when they have had enough affection that they need they tend to stretch as far away as possible and when they have left for as long as they can they bounce back more powerful then before and become way better than they were before.
Guys.. errrr
Don’t ever think it is your fault when guys are being just plan stupid..

I just got home from watching “New In Town” starring Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. What an absolutely cute and wonderful movie. It is definatly a chick flick but worth watching for sure.
They have great parts in the movie… Renee plays Lucy Hill, who is a smart and beautiful business woman that gets thrown in to a job running a plant in a small town in Minnesota. Harry Connick Jr. plays Ted Mitchell, a union rep for the company and Lucy and Ted really fall for each other.
It was such a great movie and it gets you in the gushy romantic mood and I recommend it for everyone.
It has great fashion (especially shoes) and Renee looks fabulous. Her hair cut is going to be a new fad because she fits the ‘do so well.
Harry is such a stud in this movie and he is for sure my new crush
